Magellan Space Adventure

Welcome aboard the Magellan! 

This is a special space vessel filled with the native Mageleons who you will make encounters with during your stay aboard the ship. With the Magellan taking off from earth, the native beings have developed their own language over the past 31 years that you will need to translate in order to understand. 

With multiple rooms ranging from the Magellan pool to the indoor garden and even control center, there is plenty to do and see around the park.  

Starting off in the main room, you have a choosing of which walk-talkie you’d like to start off with. What exactly do these do? Well, you use the walkie-talkie to decode the language of the Mageleons aboard the ship. Without this handy translator by your side, you wouldn’t be able to understand the signs and the Mageleons aboard the ship. Starting off as early as the first lobby room, you will run into a robot who welcomes you into the ship. This is the one Mageleon you can count on being there as he is stationary. You will also encounter problems in the first lobby that you will be able to solve later. In order to solve problems aboard the ship, you need to make sure you talk to EVERYONE you encounter in each room. 

With a swimming room, you will be exposed to one of your solutions early on within the ship. What you do from there depends on how far you travel within the ship and see if there is an ending to your solution. Also, in the swimming room, there’s a small encounter with another Mageleon that’s not too important. Although it’s not important, you’re helping someone out and that’s what this park is about. All Mageleons are nice, sympathetic and will help you out if you return the favor. 

Onto the next room that unlocks, you come across a buffet with food options. With the Magellan being a spaceship that left earth, this buffet offers food options from all over the globe. This is a small “Easter egg” showing that the spaceship had once derived from earth. Within this room, you come across another object that is used how you want to use it. Feel free to return it or not. 

What’s a spaceship built in 2121 without an indoor garden? This crucial room shows that there is still life filled with Mageleons and even animals such as the common dog and bird. With this garden, the spaceship is able to have a “sense of earth” to it, allowing those visiting and living there to experience what earth was once like. 

Within the last room, you’re able to see the main control room where you’re able to meet the captain. This room doesn’t serve a lot of importance but does have a small item that you can use within one of the previous rooms... You have to find out how to use it yourself. 

With this spaceship including multiple rooms full of Mageleons, you experience different small conversations with beings of all ages. A small theme that was told within the story that may be hard to make out is the difference of ages among the Mageleons. With a spaceship full of beings of all ages and small references to planet earth, earth will always carry on whether it’s within a spaceship or not.
